The Health Benefits of Coconut Oil

I’m pretty much addicted to coconut oil and use it on everything from my hair to my daily protein shakes. There are just so many health benefits that come from consuming coconut oil, not to mention all of the places you can use it on your body!

Now dolls, you know I love a good body scrub! To make your own, just mix coconut oil and coarse salt together and rub the mixture all over! Rinse off, and your skin will be super soft. You can add in essential oils if  you would  like a specific smell.

Also, not sure if you know this or not, but the skin under your eyes are the first to go when it comes to showing your age. But no worries dolls, coconut oil can help. Just apply a little the eyes to reduce puffiness, bags and wrinkles. Use on the lids in the evening.

And of course, my favorite benefit is fitness-related! Coconut oil has been proven to stimulate your metabolism, improve thyroid function, and escalate energy levels – all of which help decrease your unwanted fat while increasing muscle.
