Hey Dolls,
Not sure about you, but I just love when my friends who work a basic 9-to-5 come up with some really great idea that involves spending the whole day together. One of the problems with being an entrepreneur is that I often have to work on the weekends. Don’t get me wrong I love my job and I’m sure that there are plenty of other people who love being an entrepreneur as well. In fact, I was reading something the other day about there being a rise in retirees launching businesses, so if they can do it, then why can’t I? So my idea of hanging out with friends looks something like what happened last night: I had been trying to linkup with a good friend of mine and fellow blogger Charell Star, founder of Not Just a Girl in a Dress. We wound up attending a fabulous HP.com event together, which allowed us to catch up while learning about some pretty cool computers. And of course, we did a bit of networking as well.
At the end of the day, yes my life is hectic and sometimes frustrating. but I enjoy each and every moment working for myself because I’m doing something that I absolutely love.
