End of Year Reflections

It’s almost the end of the year so, like a lot of you, I’ve been reflecting on 2018– the highs, the lows and everything in between. If you’ve been following me, you already know that 2018 was, uhm, an INTERESTING year for me. LOL! I got divorced, started a new career, moved, and started a new job all at the same time. Now, you know that’s a whole lot going on at once. Honestly, I think the thing that got me through this year is my connection to God. I got baptized when I was younger but it just felt like what I should be doing. It didn’t really make a difference. But this year, I’ve really felt loved and protected by God. I’ve come to realize that God will show up for me every day– even when I don’t go to church. He lives inside me and walks with me every step of the way. I’ve also realized that I get exactly what I expect. If I expect to have a bad day or a bad date, that’s exactly what will happen to me. I have the power within myself. I can clear my mind and manifest what I want to receive. I’m excited about my new relationship with God and how it’s working for me. God covers me so I can take care of myself and help others. Try finding strength in a higher power. You won’t regret it!- XOXO, Wasidah
