Not sure about you, but as I get older I have become more serious about my goals and dreams. And because of this, my fashion sense has completely changed. I remember back in my retail days there were certain brands that I wouldn’t even look at. They just seemed too plain and not edgy or sexy enough.
This outfit is a perfect example of that. This short burgundy striped skirt as well as the blazer are from Theory, a brand that is mostly known for having your basic staples, like the typical black skirt, the perfect little peacoat, and maybe a fun striped sweater here and there. Now I think the great thing about Theory is that they actually have timeless pieces, and the fit is perfect – especially for petite girls since their sizes start at double zero which helps a lot when you’re only 4’10” like me. Their pieces can easily go from day to night, and you can pretty much dress them up or down.
P.S. Remember Dolls, it’s better to spend your money on pieces that you can dress up for work or play!
