Nevermind How Celebrities Do It…Here’s How YOU Can, Too!
It’s Wasidah, hello all!
Yes, we were all stunned at Beyonce’s photos after giving birth, amazed at how she got back in shape so quickly and, apparently, effortlessly. The same with numerous others we see all over our TV screens and magazine covers–they look spectacular, have a highly-publicized pregnancy, give birth to adorable little ones and then they go right back to looking spectacular. Sounds simple, right? I assure you, there’s no magic involved. The key word is: ‘Money’.
Perhaps some of you are parents who gave birth a year ago, and you see Beyonce, for example, and wonder ‘why am I not as fit and toned as she is?’ I’m not saying she didn’t put in work–she obviously does–but when you have the luxury of money, you can afford the best trainers. You have nannies looking after the kids during your busier times of the day, and maybe a chef or nutritionist takes care of Jay Z when Beyonce isn’t able to get to it. Again–people with money have that luxury, being able to get the best they can and free up time to do what they need to do. Beyonce doesn’t have a boss pressuring her back into the office after twelve weeks. It’s a different world. That doesn’t mean, however, that you can’t get back to where you want to be after giving birth.
Remember, ladies, pregnancy is different for everyone and you may be surprised at how well you can bounce back. You may be a regular person with a regular job, but you’re a superstar of a person who’s got the makings of a great mom.
