As a young girl, I was beyond obsessed with my weight. I was super curvy with a small waist on top of a big round bottom, and my obsession pushed me into skipping meals and other unhealthy activities. Sometimes, I would even starve myself and then binge on sugary foods because I could not stand the hunger anymore. I even tried diet pills at one point!
I never learned about proper nutrition and grew up believing you should eat until you’re full.
When your body enters starvation mode, it slows down your metabolism and stores fat. When you want to lose weight, you need to speed up your metabolism. Even though it may be tempting when you’re trying to lose weight, skipping meals is ALWAYS a bad idea!
