I’ve come full circle!
I did a talk for Bottomless Closet a few years ago and recently I came back to speak for them again– and this time it was the biggest audience I’ve ever spoken in front of!
What was super cool about it for me was seeing their growth and mine. When I spoke at Bottomless Closet a few years ago I didn’t have as much experience as I do now with transitional periods. But now I definitely do! LOL! I think the ladies enjoyed hearing about how I handled my recent life changes and how I overcame my challenging circumstances.
It was also great to see how much some of them had grown. I’d say about 10% of the women at the event were women who I’d been met last time I was there and it was super cool to see that some of them gotten apartments, jobs and are ready to declutter their lives in big ways.
Bottomless Closet does a great job in giving women who are living in poverty the tools they need to succeed as job applicants– and it creates a bit of a sorority too! I’m happy to be a part of it.
