This is an open letter to all my twenty-something year-old dolls…
As I sit and think of all the many things I rushed through and passed up in my 20s, I really wish someone would have grabbed me and told me to slow down and take the time to enjoy life… each and every moment of it! For example, I remember friends who invited me to travel to beautiful places like Italy and Hawaii. But I was too busy giving my 9-5 job a hundred percent to actually take some time out and enjoy myself. And as for dating, I would go out with a guy one time and decide he just wasn’t my type without giving him a fair shot. In my opinion, the 20s are for dating different types of guys, and it’s truly the only way to figure out what you like and don’t like in a relationship. When it comes to your career, do something you love and something that makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning. Remember, the only person depending on you is you, so if you fail and make a mistake, you can always start over.
